OVERVIEW

Engineered once, deployable many times.

A mobile shower trailer is a road-deployable ablution facility configured with shower cubicles, hot water generation, HVAC and greywater treatment infrastructure pre-installed. structmod mobile shower trailers ship at standard trailer width (2.55 m) with 8 individual shower cubicles plus drying area, lockers and ancillary infrastructure — deploying in 2-4 hours at the camp or event site. The trailer-based configuration drives between deployment sites, supporting operations that follow workforce camps, event circuits, or humanitarian deployments.

Standard configurations include 8 shower cubicles (4 per side in the trailer's linear layout), each with thermostatic shower mixer, individual lighting, soap and shampoo dispenser mounting, towel hook, and drainage. Central drying area with benches and mirror positions supports post-shower towelling and dressing. Hot water is generated by central plant (typical 150-250 L tank capacity with continuous regeneration), with circulation loops maintaining temperature at fixtures. Ventilation extracts moisture from the shower zone (typical 15-20 air changes per hour) preventing mould growth. Greywater treatment includes oil/grit trap, pH adjustment, and optional package STP for compliance discharge — important where direct mains sewer discharge is unavailable.

structmod mobile shower trailers serve mining and oil & gas workforce camps (typical 1 shower per 8-12 occupants ratio), construction project camps, event sites (festivals, sporting events, political summits), military exercises and training deployments, and humanitarian deployments (refugee camps, disaster response staging). Lead time is 8-10 weeks from contract signature. EN 1090 EXC-2 chassis, DOT/E-mark vehicle homologation, IEC 60364-7-701 wet-area electrical for shower installation safety, and waste water management per environmental regulations at the deployment site.

Typical deployment sequence

  1. Hour 0 — trailer arrives on tow vehicle, positioned and chocked
  2. Hour 0–1 — stabilizer jacks deployed, leveling verified
  3. Hour 1–2 — hydraulic walls or slide-outs extended where fitted
  4. Hour 2–3 — utility connections (power, water, wastewater)
  5. Hour 3–4 — functional test per FAT protocol
  6. Hour 4 — operational handover with user training
